The Acquisition Delivery Manager plays a key role within MBNL’s Infrastructure & Estates directorate, responsible for managing sites at risk and delivering acquisition solutions that maintain network coverage and service continuity. Working closely with internal stakeholders, surveyors, legal teams, and third?party suppliers, the role ensures acquisition activities are delivered to time, cost, and quality while supporting shareholder and business objectives.

 Maintaining network coverage and customer experience depends on acquiring and retaining the right sites at the right time. This role ensures acquisition activities are effectively managed, risks are mitigated, and replacement coverage solutions are delivered efficiently through strong stakeholder engagement and supplier management. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week in our Central Reading office.

What you’ll be here to do;

 • Manage acquisition activities across a portfolio of infrastructure sites to achieve agreed delivery targets

 • Ensure suppliers and internal stakeholders comply with acquisition processes, legal requirements, standards, and SLAs

 • Investigate underperformance, drive recovery plans, and escalate risks where required

 • Coordinate acquisition suppliers, legal partners, surveyors, and internal SMEs to deliver site solutions efficiently

 • Manage project and site-specific risks, issues, and dependencies, driving timely resolution

 • Control operational expenditure and ensure the efficient use of technical support services

 • Assess and report on site risks that may impact replacement coverage delivery

 • Ensure projects are mobilised promptly and acquisition activities progress without delay

 • Maintain high standards of data accuracy and integrity across sites and programmes

 • Support continuous improvement of acquisition processes, reporting, and delivery practices

 • Promote collaboration across suppliers, shareholders, and internal teams to achieve successful outcomes

Who we’re looking for;

 • Experience delivering complex programmes or projects across multiple stakeholders and suppliers

 • Proven ability to deliver within structured governance and control frameworks

 • Strong understanding of acquisition, planning, legal processes, and cross-functional dependencies

 • Knowledge of the end?to?end delivery lifecycle, including Acquisition, Design, Transmission, Deployment, and Operations

 • Experience managing outsourced suppliers and driving delivery performance

 • Telecommunications acquisition experience

 • Strong stakeholder engagement, organisational, and problem?solving skills

 • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining delivery quality and timescales
