Lead change. Enable people. Deliver meaningful business outcomes.

At MBNL, we're transforming how we operate to deliver greater value, efficiency and service for our Shareholders and customers. As a Transformation Programme Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in helping the business successfully navigate change, ensuring that transformation initiatives are delivered in a way that supports people, improves ways of working and creates sustainable business benefits.

Working within MBNL's centralised Programme Delivery function, you'll lead complex transformation programmes from concept through to implementation, bringing together teams, stakeholders and suppliers to deliver successful outcomes. You'll act as a trusted partner to business leaders, helping them understand, embrace and embed change while ensuring day-to-day operations continue to perform effectively.

Why this role matters;

Successful transformation is about more than delivering projects. It's about helping people adapt, improving business performance and creating lasting value.

This role supports MBNL's journey towards becoming a leading Infrastructure Management organisation by ensuring transformation programmes deliver tangible business outcomes, improved ways of working and a positive experience for those affected by change.

As a key leader within the transformation community, you'll build strong relationships, provide clarity and direction, remove obstacles and ensure programmes deliver measurable benefits for our Shareholders, customers and colleagues. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days per week in our Central Reading office.

What you'll be here to do;

• Lead the successful delivery of complex transformation programmes, ensuring agreed outcomes, benefits and business objectives are achieved.

• Build strong relationships with business leaders, teams, Shareholders, suppliers and partners to create alignment and support successful delivery.

• Act as a trusted advisor to sponsors and stakeholders, providing clear insights, recommendations and solutions.

• Translate strategic ambitions into practical, deliverable programmes and change initiatives.

• Drive business readiness, ensuring colleagues are supported and equipped to adopt new ways of working.

• Develop and implement transformation plans that balance business change with ongoing operational performance.

• Create and communicate a compelling programme narrative that helps stakeholders understand the purpose, benefits and impact of change.

• Lead governance, reporting and assurance activities, ensuring timely and transparent decision-making.

• Proactively manage programme risks, dependencies and issues, identifying solutions before they impact delivery.

• Monitor programme performance, benefits, budgets and forecasts, ensuring effective financial stewardship and value for money.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver integrated outcomes across multiple workstreams.

• Support the design and implementation of new operating models, business processes and organisational structures.

• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify delivery, increase efficiency and strengthen programme performance.

• Coach, support and influence leaders and teams through periods of change, helping build confidence and capability across the organisation.

• Contribute to the development of MBNL's programme management and transformation capability by sharing best practice and driving high standards of delivery.

Who we're looking for;

• An experienced programme leader with a strong track record of delivering complex transformation and business change initiatives.

• Someone who builds trusted relationships and can influence stakeholders at all levels through credibility and collaboration.

• A customer-focused and people-centric leader who understands that successful transformation starts with engagement and support.

• Strong programme and project management expertise, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies and workstreams.

• Experience designing and implementing operating model, process and organisational change.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex messages for different audiences.

• Strong commercial and financial awareness, with experience managing budgets, forecasts and benefit realisation.

• A proactive problem solver who takes ownership, removes barriers and maintains momentum.

• Experience managing risk, governance, assurance and business readiness activities.

• Strong coaching and leadership skills with the ability to support others through change.

• A continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to enhance delivery, efficiency and effectiveness.

• Comfortable working within a fast-paced, complex and highly collaborative environment.

If you also have the following, we'd especially like to hear from you;

• Experience within telecommunications, infrastructure or technology environments.

• Experience working within a joint venture or multi-stakeholder environment.

• Experience leading large-scale operating model or organisational transformation programmes.

• Formal programme or change management qualifications.
