[description] => The Service Transformation and Delivery function of MBNL is responsible for the delivery of a decommissioning programme to power down and decommission a large volume of sites over a short period. The programme is delivered via Managed Service Partners (MSP’s), Principal Contractors (PC’s) and Small Works Contractors (SWC’s) and we are looking for a Delivery Manager to support these activities.
This will be an initial 6 month contract with 2 days per week onsite at our Reading, Solihull or Warrington offices.
What you can expect to be doing:
• Successful delivery of network site infrastructure to MBNL design and HSQA standards.
• Responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of Suppliers, 3rd parties against contracted time, cost, and quality obligations.
• Undertaking direct intervention to investigate underperformance, instigate recovery initiatives and intensely manage the recovery of delivery performance. Escalating as required.
• Manage Supplier delivery via regular review, meetings, and reporting.
• Highlight potential risks to projects and mitigate, as necessary.
• Seek agreement from stakeholders about site lists, delivery timescales and budgeting as required.
• Management of changes to site lists or specific site requirements
What we are looking for:
• A proven ability to drive delivery across organisational departments, and from 3rd party suppliers.
• Demonstrable experience delivering projects to a clear governance structure.
• Good understanding of Telecommunications processes and cross-functional dependencies.
• Knowledge of the numerous functional deliverables (Acquisition, RAN, TX, Deployment).
• Experience of motivating and managing outsource Suppliers.
• Telecommunications deployment experience
• Ability to manage deliveries to governance and processes.
• Experience of significant volume delivery
• Ability to manage project finance and discuss same with Programme and Finance Dept
