Our Operations team is looking for a Remedy Product Manager to be accountable for assisting the business through developing and maintaining the functional and data integrity of the BMC Remedy On Demand.

You will be based in a brand new office space located directly opposite Reading train station, making it very convenient for travel. Being centre of town, there is plenty to eat and see, whether you want to grab a fresh to go coffee or do some last-minute shopping.

 The Role

This exciting role will oversee two primary areas of focus: the functional performance and user experience of Remedy toolset and secondly, overseeing ownership and management of the configuration management database.

Some of the key responsibilities will be :

  • Potential changes to Remedy configuration and foundation data are identified reactively and proactively and triaged

  • Potential advanced configurations (customisations) of Remedy are identified and assessed for impacts, benefits and changes to total cost of product ownership

  • Errors in CMDB data are identified reactively and proactively and corrected through appropriate amendments to the master data

  • Embed and manage process reactive identification of Remedy configuration and foundation data change. 

  • Manage processes for submission of product changes to agreed suppliers

  • Monitor and manage SLAs for suppliers of Remedy product changes

  • Embed and manage process reactive identification of CMDB data integrity and quality issues. 

  • Developing reporting and processes for proactive identification, analysis and solution definition of CMDB data issues

  • Establishment and management of processes for correction of data issues in CMDB data masters

  • Ensure the Remedy product team have the requisite skills to perform required

 Must have:

  • Significant experience of Remedy administration, implementation and development

  • Demonstrable experience of data management and governance

  • Database administration, contract management and systems development experience
