Senior Project Manager – Property Finance

Location: Reading – with flexible working

The Role:

This role will sit in the Property team and will play a key role in leading the Code Programme. The Property Team is accountable for the estate management and implementation of property and planning strategies across the shared and unilateral network property portfolio, ensuring partners & suppliers adhere to agreed guidelines when undertaking work or upgrades on the property estate.

This role will be focussing on impacts on their property portfolio from the New Code legislation with a strong focus on the finance aspects.

 What you can expect to be doing:

  • Accountable for the management of project Capex and Opex budgets across various stakeholders.  Developing financial modelling, budget reforecasting and accurate control over project expenditure.  Developing cost reduction strategies
  • Accountable for managing third party supplier contracts
  • Leading the project, including delivery of new site leases and property processes
  • Accountable for data integrity and accurate reporting
  • Accountable for longer time financial forecasting and financial management

What we are looking for:

  • Strong Finance background, and you will ideally have an Accountancy qualification
  • Project Management experience
  • Telco property experience ideally, alternatively infrastructure/construction potentially
  • Experienced with managing budgets of circa £10m
  • Good leadership experience, previously managing some direct reports
  • Able to produce regular finance packs and report into senior stakeholders
