Reporting to the Head of Service Transformation and Delivery the Business Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the Operational Services function by directing the facilitation / coordination of budgeting, planning and supporting the organisation on governance forums.
What you will be doing:
• Support the Operational Services management team to deliver the Operations plan.
• Assist the Operational Services Management team to deliver continual service improvement.
• Be responsible for integrating the shareholder roadmap into Operations plan.
• Maintain the Operational Services templates.
• Facilitate the MBNL AOP planning process.
• Take ownership of the format and content for executive steerco reporting
• Arrange governance forums collating information, inputs and outputs.
• Support the Operational Services management in the setting and controlling of the Operational Services budget.
• Identify and champion innovative and efficient reporting processes that are centred on the customer experience
• Take the lead on Risk Management for the Operational Services teams.
What we are looking for:
• Expert in use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrable experience in Project Planning (including Resource, Time and Budget Planning)
• Full understanding of project plans, dependencies, risk and issue management.
• Experience of Prince2 or similar project management methodology
• Experience coordinating projects in a fast-paced, technology-based industry environment.
Nice to have:
• An understanding of mobile telecoms and the key players within the industry.
• ITIL foundation certification (V3 or V4)
• Relevant industry affiliation(s) that keeps role holder updated about latest trends and best practises
