We are looking for an experienced Service Operations Manager to join our expanding Head Office Team.  Alongside our Shareholders (EE and Three) you will be working at one the world’s leading Mobile Telecoms Service Providers, ensuring our shareholders’ TX Networks are running optimally at all times, and future-proofed with the latest technologies and systems.

The role:
As an expert in TX Networks Operations, we will be looking to you contribute in all key areas pertaining to Transmission, including:

  • Managing Service Delivery from our existing TX Service Providers, ensuring that SLA’s are met, KPI’s are kept relevant and monitored, mitigating technical issues and risks in partnership with our vendors, and gaining best service delivery on behalf of the shareholders.
  • Accountability for providing direction and value-add to the TX design, deployment and capacity delivery process to drive OLO and Microwave performance.
  • Accountability for establishing and owning the MBNL Operations requirements for transmission fault and performance monitoring and develop end to end dashboard.
  • Responsibility for identifying opportunities to optimise transmission services and activities to reduce impact to customers, improve transmission resilience, reliability and performance.
  • Proactively co-ordinating and ensuring compliance to operations service requirements through deployment and program activities to minimise and mitigate interference between programmes.
  • Creating documentation and provide management of overall estate architecture against existing and future design.

Your background:
You’ll have a technical background within Transmission Networks and a genuine passion for future TX technologies.

You will be able to demonstrate a confident communication style and ability to drive continuous improvement from both internal teams, 3rd party vendors and influencing senior stakeholders where appropriate.

Experience with MBNL networks and tools such as Nemesis, Circuit Manger & ADC build, would be a bonus, but not necessary.
