The mobile telecoms industry is going through some of the most exciting changes in Property legislation and technology advancements for many years.  We are looking for highly engaging Property Surveyor to join our team at our new Head Offices in Reading.

The Regional Property Surveyor role is well established in the MBNL Property Department, which deals with the day to day estate management sites within the radio estates portfolio.  The Property Surveyor will manage this workload, through external professional advisors and Principal Contractors, as well as internal departments. The Property Surveyor will generally be a first stop expert for Property related matters reporting to the Estates Manager, and working closely with the MBNL Legal Department to direct positive, timely and prudent outcomes for MBNL’s Shareholders.

What you can expect:

The role will be advising, reporting, managing data and process implementation for any of the following:

  • New Code Agreement renewals 
  • New Code Rollout
  • All Upgrades
  • Old Code Matters including ‘54 Act
  • Rent reviews
  • Access issues through escalation

What we are looking for:

You’ll be a highly engaging and engaged individual, who can influence others and bring them with you as you improve overall service and efficiency for our shareholders and the millions of mobile phone users who rely on our network.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience of Telecoms Property Site Acquisition and Lease Agreements.
  • Property related Qualifications e.g. RICS membership or comparable experience.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Communications Code (Digital Economy Act) would be nice.
