The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Counsel to join our busy in-house legal team in Reading. You will be providing high quality, nimble and commercially focused property legal and dispute resolution support to MBNL and particularly the internal and external property teams across a variety of projects

What you can expect to be doing:

  • Supporting on all aspects of legal work including property litigation through the County Court and the Land Tribunal, covering renewals, modifications and acquisitions in relation to their portfolio of sites;
  • Managing external lawyers working on the portfolio
  • Advising property teams and agent on queries and analysing their legal rights
  • Assisting with establishing and improving processes in regards to the impacts of the Electronic Communications Code

What we are looking for:

  • Property Litigation/Property disputes background
  • Membership of the Law Society of England and Wales or the Bar Council.
  • Knowledge of property law including Landlord and Tenant Act 1954;
  • Experience of managing a portfolio of properties/ Client with multiple sites
  • A thirst for knowledge and an appetite to learn
